Horror
I had a night terror once
and when I awoke,
I could not remember a moment of the dream.
All I could think was,
I am free,
I am free,
I am free.
Send me your most terrifying nightmare. I'll tell... →
carbonribs asked: A few months ago I used to have pregnancy dreams all the time. I was either pregnant or had a baby. They started coming back last week. Is there anything significant about reoccurring pregnancy dreams?
I could listen to your music and weep forever.

i've always been the "level-headed friend";
crookidsoul:
you know, the one that people will always come to for advice?
the one who you can always count on?
but what that means,
is that now i have someone constantly dumping their problems on me,
and complaining. non-stop.
what people don’t realize
is that all that “level-headed” means
is i’m a hypocrite.
i can give advice, but i never follow my own.
“level-headed”?
all it means...
chris was in a serious car accident last night.
caitianne:
i’m about to puke from crying so hard.
i think i’m gonna take a break from the internet for a while.
Caiti, if there is anything I can do to help you, please let me know. Please, don’t push yourself too hard.
mobilesmog asked: This is really strange, and I usually do have strange, abstract dreams. I've never once had a dream that was a simple as flying or breathing underwater, that I've remembered at least. I've told you some of them on the bus ride I think. Just saying, because it could be really hard to interpret.

Have You Ever...
Have you ever seen someone so beautiful,
you ran as fast as you could
in the opposite direction?
Because you were terrified
of how beautiful they were
and you thought,
My God,
If they open their mouths
I might explode.
The whole world will peel apart at the edges
if they ruin this with a single word.
…
I have.
caitianne asked: i had a dream that someone i don't particularly like died, and in my dream i was happy about this. not just happy, overjoyed. the next day i felt really guilty about it because i don't want her dead. that's a little harsh.
What do you dream? I can tell you what it means. →
Have you dreamt of anything interesting, confusing, or puzzling lately? If you tell me what you dream, I can interpret each individual symbol for you.
Drowning
"If I saw you drowning, I would dive in after you," said he.
"But, you don't know how to swim," said I in shock. He smiled.
"I know," replied he. "We would perish beautifully beneath those freezing waves."
sitthefuckdown asked: Latley ive been really obsessed with Pete doherty, who is known for his drug use. So, the other day I had a dream that my own father was on crack cocaine :/ does this have any significant meaning?
itskala asked: I always have dreams about my teeth, some falling out, and weird things like that. They give me the creeps.
He's in my dreams a lot too, most of the time it's just like any normal day, but why him?

Pelican
I dreamed about a pelican last night that carried lotion in his gigantic beak. A pelican is a symbol of selflessness. Lotion represents a beautiful soul, so the dream (as the pelican shared the lotion with other people) means that I share my soul with other people. I take this as a good sign, especially because I was told I am selfish recently.

You look at high fashion and you think, ‘Beautiful’. They look at fashion and...

Fear of Abandonment
There is no -phobia for the fear of being abandoned. This is not because no one is afraid of being abandoned. It is the opposite. Phobias are the name of unusual fears, but we are ingrained with two fears from birth. One of them is of falling. The other is of being abandoned.
The Red Door
How many times have you walked through your town and never seen it? This morning I noticed, only because a few squirrels climbed on it, that we have an enormous telephone pole in front of our house. I had literally never seen it before. So, later in the day, on my ride home, I scoured my town to see new things.
Not only was the sky particularly beautiful today, but I saw a beautifully carved red...
Go to Sleep
"You know, the more I hear of you, the more bored I am," said he. "Just go to sleep."
"Sleep would be nice," sighed I. "But the world is too beautiful, I would hate to sleep through."
"Darling," said he, laughing, "What, then, are dreams?"

How sad is it that we listen to recorded music? When I think about it, it depresses me. I’m sitting here in my room feeling miserable and trying to listen to St. Vincent to console myself … and as much as I love her, she’s just a disc rotating inside a sleek old machine. A song I’ve heard a thousand times, in exactly the same way … a song that...

Candle
To see a burning candle in a dream symbolizes good luck and hope for the future. The candle itself may symbolize the inner intellectual and consideration, and the search for inner meaning.
To see a candle burn out symbolizes a fear of death or of growing old.
Consider also the color of the candle, as many different colors mean many different things.
Tightrope
Have you ever walked
that queer time of night
when the stars and the sun seem to dance?
How you ever crept
‘cross the horizontal line
where earth and sky meet as if by chance?
While Sorting Through Old Photos
"You've been very kind to me over the years," commented I.
"What, where are you going? What's happened?" said he in surprise.
"I'm not going anywhere. Am I not allowed to tell you how much you mean to me?" asked I.
"No," said he with a shudder. "It's frightening to think of how much we need each other."
Girl
There was a girl who wore dresses of sky,
Who collected feathers of birds who’d died,
and fashioned them in her hair like pins
Who bathed in a creek when her legs grew fins
She sang with the black birds at twilight
And ran from the angry clouds in fright
Who laughed in the rain in bare feet
Who laid out for hours in the warm gold wheat
Of the summer
That couldn’t last forever
